Library Bottles Rebrand

The work that keeps the lights on! These shots are intended to replace traditional photo studio photography and keep a consistent look that is difficult to reproduce in a studio.

Tools: Cinema 4D, Octane Render, Photoshop.

Working from mechanicals provided by the client, bottle molds are modeled to scale. Liquid is created from a duplicate of the inner bottle glass and offset to the interior of the glass where material priorities are set and nested dielectrics are leveraged for a realistic liquid + glass render result. The capsules follow the same treatment. The label is typically the area of client concern, and embellishment is required to meet client expectations. In all cases, an exclusive light system is set up along with AOVs for controlling all aspects of the label pre and post. The label is typically provided as an Adobe Illustrator file where materials are built to create the diffuse, specular, normal, bump, and height maps. Foil and texture treatments are typically created procedurally with built-in noises.
